[Porth Wen Beach]

Porth Wen is a small bay to the west of Bull Bay. Porth Wen is quite remote and mostly used by fishermen.

The shoreline is rocky and at the western end of the beach is a large natural rock arch. One of the most interesting aspects of Porth Wen is an abandoned brickworks. It closed at the start of WW1, and the ruins of the stacks, buildings and kilns present an atmospheric backdrop to this scenic cove.

Access to Porth Wen can be difficult as there is a steep path and parking is very limited.
